Our Team
Bob Schwarz has been a freelance book indexer for more than twenty years.
He began his publishing career as a copy editor and researcher with a small press,
where he compiled and helped to maintain several extensive research archives on
Malcolm X and the International Labor Movement before and after World War I.
He attended Antioch College in Ohio and received a BA in Historical Studies from the State University of New York Empire State College. He has worked on a wide range of subjects and scholarly works, and is a member of the American Society for Indexing.
Andrea Baron was an adjunct professor in the Pace University MS in Publishing Program for fifteen years, and has more than twenty years' experience in book and magazine publishing, working on trade books and with major consumer publishers including Time Inc., American Express and Conde Nast. She has been a freelance book indexer for over ten years.
She has a BA in Sociology from Binghamton University and a Masters Degree in Publishing from Pace University. She is the president of the South Florida chapter of the Women's National Book Association, and a member of the American Society for Indexing, and the advisory board of the Pace University Publishing Program.
